Resources for the mind

This section of the site provides resources that help our analytical minds understand Gotama’s teachings. Click on the heading below to see our current (and evolving) collection.
  1. Sutta Central: Don’t have ready access to an experienced dharma teacher? No problem, Sutta Central is here to help. This section will offer a number of key suttas translated from the Pali Canon along with questions to deepen and apply your understanding as well as some commentary from a secular point of view (see the first sutta below).
  2. Glossary of terms: a guide to the many lists and concepts that are frequently encountered in Buddhist teachings.
  3. Annotated bibiliography: a list of books that are helpful to the secular explorer along with a description of the key themes and commentary.
  4. Podcasts: recorded dharma talks with a secular orientation.
  5. Articles: on the secular approach to the dharma
  6. Links to other sites and resources: a collection of articles and web sites with good resources for the secular dharma practitioner.
